The way you use the social media, the way that social media affected you!

According to the clip “This American Life’s” I thought it is literally purpose for the new generation to using social media. As being a new generation I can understand the problems that these girls were talking about. Today Billions of people around the world use social media. Also, It has about 60+ Social Networking Sites in 2018. Everyone is using social media for different purposes such as business, promotion, connect with other people. However, there still have someone who just randomly rolling over their news feed to “double-tap”- like and leave a comment on someone else or stranger’s post then being jealous and upset about themselves later on. Social media is bringing us many disadvantages way to live in these days.  

On the other hand, social media has its own advantages, it gives us more opportunities to learn new things by just sitting in front of our phone or laptop. It also helps to revive and preserve relationships with other people. Social media, for all of its faults, isn’t exactly bad. In fact, these sites can be perfect places to spread positivity and hope.  

Entry #2 My “International Student” Life

What do you think about international students and their life?

Some of my foreign friends say “International students are such rich kids, come from rich and wealthy family. They don’t have to go to work, don't have to think about how can they make money for tuition, house rent, and many other things. They just have to focus on study and enjoy their wealthy life”. It sounds like international student has such a fantastic life right!? However, as an international student I can tell that it is not wrong but it isn’t true at all. I have many friends who are international student. Each person of us have a same file that called “international student”. However, we all have a different life. There are some of us come from a wealthy family so they can live the fantastic life as what I mentioned above. On the other hand, people like me, who is under the “international student” file but not come from a wealthy family. Of course we do have to live as an international student file such as focus on study and have no permission to get a job while studying. I know you might get a little confused here but yeah we are not allow to work when we are under the international student file, except you might get a permission from your school or the government.

I don’t know if you ever meet someone who would say “ I wish I could be you”! In my experience, I have met a few people who have said that to me. People look at me and think I have a happy and fancy life then they told me that they want to be me, want to live a life like me. One of my friend told me that she wants to be an international student just like me so she can live alone by herself, she could do everything, go everywhere she likes to without asking for any permission. However, she have never known how hard for me to live alone without family, how hard for me to learn and do everything by myself. There are many pressured when I have to facing many struggles in life and I have to solve it all by myself. People around me just seeing me living a happy life, but no one see me facing the struggles every single day. I know it sounds like I am so dramatic but I just don’t want people to talk or opinion about my own life.

By living in this life, I have learned many experience and know that “somethings that you see doesn’t mean that is all real. You have to be in that situation so you might understand it”. Be happy at who you are and be successful to achieve what you want or become who you want to become.

Entry #1 My Opinion about Blogs

One of the blog that interesting me is “The 10-Minute Pseudo-Skirt that I’ll Never Wear in Public”. Based on this blog, I realized that something you love or you see it looks perfect on someone, it does not mean it will be perfect or fit to you as it appropriate. For example, the author she does not sew but she fell in love with the cute kid skirt, so she decided to use her husband’s old t-shirt to make a new skirt for herself. However, it turned out not as good as she expectations then she decided to never wear that skirt in the public.  

“Iceland Road Trip: Our 2-Week Itinerary”  is the blog that I am very interested and I like the most. I am a person who love to travel and take pictures of places, where I’ve visited. Also, this blog gives us a lot of informations about places in Iceland. for instance, they give us the name of the places they had been, name of food they ate and many recommendations about  where should we visit or what should we eat, which airbnb or hotel should we rent for if you go there.
